If you want something you 've never had,
then you 've got to do something you've never done!
In January I started working in an other city and on my way to my 'new' work place I'm passing a large pool of undeep water which sometimes is crowded with seagulls. Last week when I was in a hurry, I passed this pool with my car just after sunrise and again the pool was full of seagulls and the reflections of the sun together with the seagulls were awesome!
So I needed to return. Fortunately a nice sunrise was forecasted again yesterday but when I arrived, the pool was empty. I waited and waited and some seagulls came but flew away quickly.....I think because the water was frozen.
Some later when I entered the parking area at my work I found out where all the seagulls were 'hiding'.....on the lampposts decorating cars!
I'm out every day with Wanda but with this grey and wet weather without my camera.
Spring is awakening and the first crocuses are flowering but I miss the sun for the real spring feeling; instead the next storm is coming soon.
This Red Campion (Silene dioica) I found in my garden the morning after some snow had fallen three weeks ago. The only few days that we had some freezing tempertures and a thin layer of white stuff....actually not worth to call it winter.
