Brenthis hecate - Twin-spot Fritillary - Dubbelstipparelmoervlinder - Saumfleck Perlmutterfalter
The upperside is orange with dark spots and two complete rows of small spots running parallel tot the margin in the outer part of each wing. The underside of the forewing resembles the upperside; the underside of the hindwing is orange and yellow and has also two complete rows of dark spots. Flight in May and June in rough grassy slopes between 600 and 1500 m. The larval foodplant is Meadowsweat and some Dorycnium species.
