Aricia agestis - Brown Argus - Bruin blauwtje - Dunkelbrauner Bläuling
The uppersides of both sexes are rich chocolate-brown, with a full set of orange/red lunules around the margins of both wings. There is never any trace of blue on the wings. The undersides are greyish bronw with orange lunules and numerous white-ringed black spots (no spot in the forwing cell). Flight from APril to September in two or three broods in open grassland. The larval foodplants are rock-roses, stork's-bills and crane's-bills.
