Ardeche
The Ardeche has five natural regions: the mountains, the plateaus of the Haut-Vivarais and the Cévennes, the Bas-Vivarais (where the Ardeche river flows), the plateau of the Coirons and the Rhone Valley. I visited the mountains with its small rivers (comparing to the Ardeche river) and green valleys and was surprised by the beauty of this area. The mountains and valleys near Le Charnier (a small hamlet in the Bolze Valley) are a paradise for each nature photographer as this area has a rich (southern) alpine flora and fauna. At least I found 43 butterfly species and a lot of other magnificent 'little' wildlife.
On the day of arrival I passed this barn and saw it’s door only for a fraction of a second but my intuition told me that it was hiding something. A few days later I returned to this place but as I couldn’t open the door or look through it, I held my camera up and made some autofocus-flash-photos. In France a lot of 'nostalgic' cars and car wrecks can be found.
