Glaucospsyche alexis - Geen-underside Blue - Bloemenblauwtje - Alexis Bläuling
The male upperside is bright blue. The female upperside is sooty brown with no more than a faint blue flush at the base. The underside of both sexes are pale grey, with a variable greenish-blue flush at the base of the hindwing. The forewing has large, round or oval, white-ringed black spots. Flight from April to July in one brood in warm, well-drained grasslands with Lucerne and other leguminous flowers. The larval foodplants include brooms, vetches, Lucerne and many other leguminous shrubs and herbs.
