Aricia nicias - Silvery Argus - Zilverbruin blauwtje - Nicias Bläuling
The upperside of the female is dark brown; the male is pale blue with brown borders with a black bar at the end of the forewing. Both sexes have greyish fringes. The undersides are pale greyish brown with small black spots and a white streak across the hindwing and a few faint orange submarginal lunules. Flight from July to August in one brood in montane slopes from 900 to 2100 m. The larval foodplants are crane's-bills, especially Wood Crane's Bill and Medow Crane's Bill.
