Satyrium acaciae - Sloe Hairstreak - Kleine Sleedoornpage - Kleiner Schlehenzipfelfalter
The uppersides, rarely seen at rest, are dull brown in both sexes. There is a small orange or ed spot near the tail on the hindwing. The undersides are pale brown, with a thin dark-edged white line crossing both wings although it is often broken and indistinct on the foreweing. There are dark-edged orange marginal lunules on the hindwing with a faint white line beyond them. The female abdomen has a black tuft at the tip. Flight from June to July in rough ground with blackthorn bushed and srub in hilly regions. The larval foodplant is Blackthorn.
