Spialia sertorius - Red-underwing Skipper -Kalkgraslanddikkopje - Roter Würfeldickkopffalter
The ground colour of the upperside is black with a dusting of greyish scales near the wing-bases and strongly chequered with white on the fringes. Both wings carry conspicuous white spots, and the outer part of the hindwing usually has a clear arc of white dots. The underside is brownish or yellowish grey often darker on the forewing thand on the hindwing, with white spots similar to those of the upperside. Flight from April to August in two broods. The larval foodplants include Wild Strawberry, cinquefoils and other lowgrowing rose members.
