Polyommatus amandus - Amanda's Blue - Wikkblauwtje - Vogelwicken-Bläuling
The upperside of the male is bright blue with dark grey borders; the female is chocolate-brown sometimes dusted with with blue at the base. The underside of the male is pale grey, the female is brownish with small white-ringed spots and a blue flush on the hindwing. Male and female have orange submarginal lunules on the hindwing and the female may have them on the forewing as well. Flight from May to August in one brood in flower rich grasslands from sealevel to 2000 m.
The larval foodplants are vetches, mostly Tufted Vetch (Vicia cracca).
