Limentitis reducta - Southern White Admiral - Blauwe Ijsvogelvlinder - Blauschwarzer Eisvogel
The ground colour of the uppersides is black with a bluish tinge but soon becomes brownish black. Both wings have a broad white band which is broken in the centre of the forewing and a row of black submarginal spots. The underside is largely chestnut-brown with the same pattern as the upperside. There are two rows of black dots beyond the white band and the inner margin is silvery grey. Flight from June to August in woodland with plenty of glades or rides. The larval foodplants are honeysuckles.
