Thymelicus sylvestris - Small Skipper - Geelsprietdikkopje - Braunkolbiger Dickkopffalter
The uppersides are a bright golden orange with black margins; in the male there is a conspicuous black streak (the sex brand) in the centre of the forewing. The undersides are also golden orange, but with a heavy dusting of greyish-green scales at the tip of the forewing and over much of the hindwing. The underside of the antennal club is orange. Flight from May to August in one single brood. Lives in rough, grassy places. The larval foodplants are various grasses.
