Snakes and Reptiles
Snakes are elongated, legless, carnivorous reptiles of the suborder Serpentes that can be distinguished from legless lizards by their lack of eyelids and external ears. Like butterflies a lot of snakes likes warm and sunny places and during my 'career' as butterfly photographer I often had met snakes abroad. I remember La Brenne in France where I 'chased' butterflies in 1997 until I returned to one lake on a cloudy day and I was just sitting and looking around when I suddenly saw one snake, two snakes, three snakes, four snakes.......
I'm not a snake photographer so this photo's are extra catches on my tours.
