Since our arrival at the 17th, it is sunny/hot weather without any rain and the next days the temperatures will rise above 36 degrees. That means that it will be at least 40 degrees around the house and that my plants will have hard times again as we are driving home tomorrow. The Vosges once known for being the wettest European mountain area; that's history! Again I planted and sowed some butterfly plants which I gave water every evening and the wet soil, together with some animal poop, attracted a lot of butterflies like some male emperors: During our stay we noticed that the majority of 'our' Wall Lizards are gone so we suspected that some snakes must be around our terrace.....yesterday we noticed one in the cracks of the garden wall/terrace: Tomorrow morning we will first visit some Vide de Greniers and then we drive home.

Wat je met poep allemaal naar je tuin kunt lokken Silvia, zijn wel mooie soorten die er op af komen.
