Again I was on 'route' with Bas and we started our search in a big area near the Belgium border. Finally we found the place where the Alcon Blue lives but unfortunately the complete area was inaccessible. Good for the protection of this butterfly but less fun for us. We decided to return to the car and drive to an other area to try it again.
In the beginning we couldn't find one single butterfly so we were a little bit discouraged but after finding the first Alcon Blue some others followed. Photographing this morning was a real challenge as it was dark, windy and raining but thanks to my new 'plamp' and my umbrella I brought some sharp photo's home.
